How A Card Payment Clears

Open the wallet screen, choose Add funds, then pick card instead of a mobile wallet. Type the sixteen digits, the expiry date and the CVV exactly as printed, plus the name on the card, and confirm. Your bank's 3D Secure page opens next; the one-time password comes by SMS or through the bank app. Once approved, the amount shows in your wallet

and a reference line appears in your transaction history. Two bank-side switches decide whether it goes through: online card payments must be enabled, and the amount must fit inside your daily e-commerce limit. Some issuers also hold the first attempt for a security check.

  • Card tab, not mobile wallet
  • Sixteen digits plus expiry and CVV
  • Bank one-time password
  • Reference line in your history

Getting A Card Payment Sorted

Card problems usually split two ways: the attempt never reached us, or it reached us and sits pending. Either way, start from the transaction history in your account, which shows the reference, the amount and whether the entry is pending or posted. Then open chat with that reference. We cannot see your bank balance or your card PIN, so the bank SMS is the piece only you can hand over. If our side shows nothing at all, the block is at the issuer.

Team online

Chat from the wallet screen

Start chat while the payment step is still open on your phone. Give us the amount, the attempt time and the last four card digits, and we will pull the matching entry from your history.

Support email with the trail

Send the bank SMS and the time of the attempt to our support email. We check it against the pending line in your account and tell you whether the hold will settle or drop back.

Checks at your bank

Plenty of declines never reach us. If your bank app shows a blocked online transaction, switch on card payments for the internet or raise the daily e-commerce limit there, then repeat the same payment step.

CARD SAFETY RULES

How We Handle Your Card Details

Card attempts run through your bank's 3D Secure check before anything reaches our wallet, so the approval happens on your bank's page, not ours. We keep the last four digits and the reference for your receipt, never the full number or the PIN. Payouts back to a card are matched against the name on your account, and a mismatch pauses the request. Every entry stays in your transaction history, which is what your bank asks for if a charge needs to be disputed.

3D Secure on every attempt

The approval happens on your bank's password page, before the payment reaches our wallet. If that one-time password fails or times out, nothing is taken and the attempt simply lapses.

No PIN, no full number

We never ask for a card PIN, and our payment page never requests one. What we keep is the last four digits and a reference, enough to trace a payment, useless to anyone else.

Name match on payouts

Money sent back to a card is checked against the name on your account first. A mismatch pauses the request until you confirm it, which adds a step but keeps the payout pointed at you.

Every attempt on record

Each card attempt writes a line into your history with the time, amount and a reference. If a debit posted without a wallet credit, that reference is what your bank needs to open a chargeback.

Card Words You Will Meet

A few words turn up on bank SMS alerts and on our payment screen, and they are easy to mix up. The short definitions below cover the ones that matter while a card payment is in flight: what the hold on your balance actually is, why a chargeback belongs to your bank rather than to us, and what tokenisation does to a card number.

What is 3D Secure on a debit card?

A bank-run check that opens a password page during an online payment. Your bank sends a one-time code by SMS or app, and the payment only clears once you enter it.

What does CVV mean?

The three digits printed on the back of a Visa or Mastercard, apart from the card number. It shows the physical card is at hand, and you never share it with anyone.

What is an authorisation hold?

A temporary block your bank places on the amount while a card payment is being confirmed. The money is not taken yet, it either settles into the payment or drops back.

What is a chargeback?

A formal reversal your bank raises on your behalf when a card payment is wrong or missing. You start it with the issuer, not with us, and the bank decides the outcome.

What does card tokenisation do?

It swaps your card number for a stand-in code that only works with one merchant. If that code ever leaks, the real card number stays hidden and cannot be reused elsewhere.

What is an e-commerce limit?

A daily cap your bank sets on card payments made online, separate from ATM and shop spending. Going past it declines the payment even when your balance is enough.

Debit Card Questions We Get

Most card questions come down to one of two things: whether the card itself is allowed to pay online, and what happens to the money while a payment is pending. Both answers live with your bank as much as with us. What we can tell you is how our side records each attempt, and where to look when a debit leaves your account but your wallet balance has not moved yet.

Visa and Mastercard debit cards issued by a Bangladesh bank, with online payments switched on. Prepaid, student and some payroll cards are often blocked by the issuer, so confirm with your bank before your first attempt.

Usually a bank-side switch: online card payments are off, the daily e-commerce limit is used up, or the one-time password timed out. Check your bank app first, then try the payment step again.

No. The card sends money straight into your account wallet each time, and that balance is what you use across slots, live tables and cricket markets like the BPL. Fund only what you plan to use.

Where your issuer accepts refunds to the card, yes. We match the name on the request against your account name, then send it back the way it came. Posting time is set by your bank.

We keep the last four digits and the reference so your receipt and transaction history make sense. The full number, the expiry and the CVV are not held after the bank approves the attempt.

Small amounts from your phone go quickest through bKash, Nagad or Rocket, and those stay the default for most people. Reach for the card when the amount is bigger than your usual wallet send.
